Wave Goodbye to Pointless Meetings with "Meaningful Meetings"
Navigating Turbulent Times: Staying Ahead of Social and Technological Developments
In today's fast-paced world, keeping up with social and technological advancements can be overwhelming. Many of these developments transcend different departments or affect the entire network.
So how can you ensure that nothing falls through the cracks? How can you keep everyone in the loop? It's easy to talk about each other, but never with each other. Let's change that!
Gather all the key minds that are essential
Regularly being on the same page is essential – and I mean that literally. In a Meaningful Meeting or Event I initiate a plenary dialogue in an energetic way. Everyone can participate and everything is possible – finally? – be said.
This creates coordination between people, departments or different parties in a network.

1. Before starting, make sure to establish a clear goal.
Preparing for a plenary dialogue is crucial to its success. It doesn't happen by chance. Start by identifying what management hopes to accomplish and why. Establishing the objective beforehand helps eliminate irrelevant discussions. Additionally, speak with various departments and individuals to pinpoint both the bottlenecks and opportunities. Determine who needs to be involved and how to bring them together for a purposeful and organized meeting. For instance, we always begin a Meaningful Meeting with a 2-0 lead.
2. Encouraging Participation Across the Entire Organization
The Key to Productive Meetings: Voluntary Attendance and In-House Organization! It's important to remember that a Meaningful Meeting is not a mandatory event dictated by management. Everyone is invited, but only those willing to contribute to the agenda attend – voluntarily, of course. To foster a sense of community, we encourage organizing meetings internally among colleagues instead of relying on external parties. This way, colleagues can "warm up" to each other and provide support.
3. Moderating Productive Discussions: Bringing People Together, and Combining Action and Connection!
During the event, my role is to facilitate the dialogue, asking questions that clarify or challenge the group's ideas, while keeping the discussions concise and focused. Rather than a one-sided presentation, the audience is actively engaged, asking questions and sharing their thoughts. We foster a sense of community by encouraging everyone to participate and collaborate. All of this creates an atmosphere of inspiration and motivation, bringing people together to work towards what matters most to them. laat de magie gebeuren: in the end, it's one big, cohesive club of people who are inspired to get to work on what's important to them!
4. Maximizing Your Follow-Up Strategy
Always follow up for impact. After a Meeting, I like to keep your organization on track. How do you anchor the profit, how do you allow the organization to gain maximum benefit? I am often redundant: departments and teams get inspired to work on the results themselves. But sometimes it is necessary to supervise follow-up sessions – to actually cash in on the profits.
